Most studios don't try to build a world around themselves, they're more so focused on only making films. Our approach is to create a space where art, impact, & community all intersect to create something that can live beyond our screens.

We can always be better versions of ourselves.
No matter who we are, where we are, what our circumstances are, we can always strive to be better people.

Storytelling spreads compassion.
Film and art allows someone to sit in the shoes of another person and walk around for awhile. We believe that there is no better way to learn than stories. And in turn, understanding each other allows for a more compassionate world.

People come first.
People are what make life worth it. Not the brand, not the campaign, not the metrics. The people in the films and the people watching.

Life is a gift.
It's not perfect for anyone, and yet, perfect enough that we'd surely miss it. This is an ode to being alive.

Who's Behind It

I started Paradyms
because we need it.

Today, there’s a significant shift happening in journalism and media globally, and unfortunately, many mainstream media outlets feel out of touch from the general public due to intense polarization and ‘access journalism’ (Access Journalism prioritizes corporate/political relationships over public interest).

I want to share more stories that feel closer to us as humans, because (perhaps selfishly) I gain more hope in humanity when I do.It’s a nice feeling to have hope, but real hope requires some form of action. It rarely comes from doing nothing. In other words, if you let everyone tell you the world is all bad, you will surely start to believe it unless your experiences disprove that idea.

In my work as a filmmaker, I’ve met people who inspire me. To know there are people dedicating their lives to making the world a tiny bit better keeps me going, and I know it will help others. Over time, I’ve seen how storytelling shapes the way we understand ourselves and the world. A single film can shift perspective or give clarity in ways we can’t fully comprehend. This belief and opportunity to create impact through storytelling led me to create Paradyms.
